What people post online
- Letters and cards to family and partners, handwritten ones included: photograph the page and it's printed in colour.
- Letters about a dispute: a complaint, a letter of demand, a reply to a bank, an insurer or a landlord.
- Notices and forms that must go by post, such as tenancy notices. Registered post is signed for on delivery.
- Letters overseas, tracked to 180+ countries, and signed for where Australia Post can collect a signature.
Is it safe to post a document online?
Your document is encrypted, and deleted once the letter is lodged with Australia Post, or after 14 days if it isn't posted. Square takes the payment, so we never see your card details.
When to post it yourself
- It needs your signature in ink. We post a printed copy, so check that a copy is accepted.
- You're passing a post office anyway and it doesn't need tracking. A stamp is $1.85.
