Price for a colour letter by Express Post

The closest like-for-like option is a colour letter sent by Express Post, which is how unopost letters are sent unless you choose regular post. PostMyDoc charges $11.95 for up to 10 colour pages, plus $10 for Express Post.

unopost includes 12 pages instead of 10, so it costs less at every length up to 50 pages, the longest document it posts, including contracts, tenancy paperwork and court bundles.

When PostMyDoc is the better choice

  • You're posting overseas. unopost only posts within Australia.
  • Your letter is short and you want the cheapest option. Their black-and-white standard post starts at $8.95 for up to 10 pages, against $10 by unopost regular post. For colour or tracking, unopost costs less: a colour letter with tracking by their standard post is $15.95.
  • Your letter is short and black and white. Up to 10 black-and-white pages by Express Post is $18.95.

When unopost is the better choice

  • You want colour. unopost prints colour documents in colour at no extra cost: $10 by regular post or $20 by Express Post, both with free tracking.
  • Your document is long. 12 pages are included and each page after that is $0.50.
  • It shouldn't be folded. Certificates, photos and forms arrive flat in an A4 envelope.
  • You need proof it arrived. Signature on delivery is free.
  • Your document is a Word file or a photo. Upload a .docx, or a JPG or PNG from your phone, and we lay it out on A4 for you.

The short version

For colour letters within Australia that need Express Post, run to more than a few pages or must stay flat, unopost costs less and includes more. For black-and-white letters without tracking, PostMyDoc costs less. For overseas mail, PostMyDoc is the one to use.
