What ASIC asks for
ASIC asks that all Australia Post mail go to its Melbourne box for processing, whichever office it's for. Most company forms are lodged online, and ASIC prefers legal documents to be served electronically.
How long it takes
Pay by 2:30pm Melbourne time on a business day and it's posted that day, otherwise the next business day. Express Post usually arrives the next business day within Australia Post's network; regular post takes 3 to 7 business days.
Those are Australia Post's estimates, not a guarantee. Every letter is tracked, and we email you the tracking number once it's lodged. If a due date is a day or two away, use Express Post, or an online service where ASIC offers one.

Can I post to ASIC from overseas?
