Post a letter overseas, printed in Australia

Anyone, from anywhere. International post has no customs form, so the return address can be anywhere and we don't need your phone number. We don't need the recipient's phone either, except in China, where China Post needs their mobile number.

Yes. China Post needs the recipient's mobile number, so a letter to China asks for it: a Chinese mobile on +86. Hong Kong and Macao are listed as their own destinations and don't need it.

The small envelope ($30) takes up to 12 pages, folded. The B4 envelope ($50) keeps the document flat, for anything that shouldn't be creased or is longer than 12 pages. Both are tracked and signed for on delivery.

No. We print and post letters and documents only, not goods. The destination's customs rules still apply.

Australia Post has suspended International Post Registered there, or doesn't list it. When Australia Post resumes it, we add the country back.

Only where the destination can collect a signature. In Chile, Indonesia, Maldives, Morocco, Portugal, South Korea and Thailand, Australia Post can't, so the letter is delivered without one. Elsewhere, whether a signature is obtained, and what happens if nobody signs, is up to Australia Post and the destination's postal service.

If you print and post it yourself, Australia Post charges $3.45 to New Zealand, $3.75 to Asia Pacific, $4.40 to the US and Canada, $4.70 to the UK and Europe and $5.15 elsewhere for a small letter by Economy Air. Our $30 covers the printing, the envelope, postage, tracking and a signature on delivery.
