Need to send paper to Medicare? Upload your letter or form as a PDF, Word document or photo. We print it exactly as uploaded and post it with Australia Post: $12 by regular post, folded, for up to 12 pages, or $20 by Express Post for up to 20 pages, then $0.30 a page, GST included.

Unopost is an independent printing and posting service, not part of Medicare or the Australian Government. We post a printed copy of what you upload. If a form needs a signature in ink or certified copies, check with Medicare that a printed copy will do.

Sign your form before you upload it

We print exactly what you upload, so a form that needs your signature has to be signed first. On an iPhone or iPad, open the PDF in Files, tap the Markup pen, then + and Signature. On Android or a computer, the free Adobe Acrobat Reader app has a Fill & Sign tool. Have the paper form? Sign it and upload a photo of each page.

What Medicare asks for

Services Australia lists GPO Box 9822 in your capital city for writing to Medicare. Claims with any amount of $10,000 or more go to High Value Medicare Claim Services at the same box. Enrolment forms and documents go to Medicare Enrolment Services in Canberra, by mail or email.

How long it takes

Pay by 2:30pm Melbourne time on a business day and it's posted that day, otherwise the next business day. Express Post usually arrives the next business day within Australia Post's network; regular post takes 3 to 7 business days.

Those are Australia Post's estimates, not a guarantee. Every letter is tracked, and we email you the tracking number once it's lodged. If a due date is a day or two away, use Express Post, or an online service where Medicare offers one.
