How long does a letter take to reach an Australian address?
Paid by 2:30pm Melbourne time on a business day, it's lodged that day. Express Post usually arrives the next business day within its network; regular post usually takes 3 to 7 business days. These are Australia Post's estimates, not guarantees.
How much does it cost to send a letter to Australia?
$10 AUD by regular post for up to 12 pages, or $20 AUD by Express Post for up to 20 pages, then $0.30 a page. Printing, the envelope, postage, tracking and GST are included. You're charged in Australian dollars and your card issuer converts it.
Do I need an Australian return address?
No. We ask for a return address with every letter and print it on the envelope, and it can be anywhere in the world.
Will a printed copy be accepted?
We post a printed copy of what you upload, so sign it before you scan it. If the recipient requires an original signature or certified copies, confirm with them that a printed copy is acceptable.
